Description:
Built on the principles of "Conservation through education" and "If we look after the bush, the animals will be able to look after themselves", this is a 180 acre sanctuary where Australian wildlife roam free and happy, protected by a state-of-the-art fox-proof fence and a team of dedicated rangers and volunteers.
Walkabout Park also protects ancient Aboriginal sites and is a place where children and adults can learn about Australia's cultural history and lessons from the bush, bush-tucker and bush medicine.
